Science Lesson Examples
2nd Grade Science lesson-
This lesson was created to introduce a new unit on air and weather to my second grade students. This is a difficult concept for such young children to grasp, so the lesson must be simple and to the point. The students were able to talk about any prior knowledge they had about air. They were then shown a Power point presentation to help introduce the topic. The links below will show both the lesson plan as well as the Power point that was created for this lesson.

6th grade Science lesson-
This science lesson was created for one of my 6th grade classes in my student teaching placement at Oley Valley Middle School. The unit of study was air and weather. During this lesson, the students were able to see different experiments that dealt with air. The students were required to make predictions and volunteer to help complete some of the experiments. The lesson plan has an introduction activity as well as a closing activity that the students could complete. All of the experiments were fun and educational, and the students really enjoyed watching and participating in these activities.
